Undergraduate study
At UQ, our student civil engineers are developing the skills to solve contemporary and future engineering challenges.
Classroom study has a strong focus on fundamental engineering principles and is complimented by hand-ons learning in laboratories, fieldwork and professional practice.
Student engineers learn from each other and collaborate on projects with academics who are closely linked with industry and external professional engineers. International exchange programs are available within all civil undergraduate programs.
The Civil Student Learning Centre in the Advanced Engineering Building (49) Room 502 is open for civil engineering students at UQ. It provides students with a welcoming and accessible space that is available for independent and quiet study.
