At UQ, our student civil engineers are developing the skills to solve contemporary and future engineering challenges.

Classroom study has a strong focus on fundamental engineering principles and is complimented by hands-on learning in laboratories, fieldwork and professional practice. Student engineers learn from each other and collaborate on projects with academics who are closely linked with industry and external professional engineers. 

You'll work in teams to design and prototype scalable solutions to real engineering problems and set the foundation to become a professional engineer.

Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (Civil Engineering)

This degree allows you to choose either a major or minor to complement your specialisation.

Please note you can only combine a minor with a specialisation, not a major.
