The Centre for Future Timber Structures is a Centre of Excellence for the education of future timber industry professionals and the creation of knowledge-based innovations that can drive the future development of timber in the built environment.
The innovative technologies developed and the research-based education provided by the Centre will be highlighted through exemplars of applications that will help to illustrate how these technologies can be introduced into the market.
Our partnerships
The Centre for Future Timber Structures was instigated by the UQ School of Civil Engineering and the Queensland State Government Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF).
