9. Instrumented Large Columns

  • Tests sediments and mine tailings from a slurry, including settling, self-weight consolidation, desiccation and re-wetting
  • Sensors include moisture, suction, temperature, salinity, gas, piezometers, inclinometers, and data loggers to replicate wetting/drying long term periods
