Dr. Nan Zheng’s research focuses on traffic flow and control theory, transport big data, and technology applications for smart mobility and smart cities. He is a Senior Lecturer at Monash University since 2018. Before joining Monash, he was an Associate Professor and Hundred- Talent Fellow (2016~2018) at the School of Transportation Engineering and Technology, Beihang University, and a post-doctoral fellow at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne (EPFL) and Zurich (ETHZ) during 2014~2016. He serves as an Associate Editor or Editorial Board Member for Transportation Research Part C, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Vehicles, Transportmetrica B, etc., and an assessor for ARC DECRA, DP, Future Fellow, Linkage, LIEF, and ARC-level international grants. Dr. Zheng teaches core units Traffic Engineering and Road Engineering to civil engineering students at Monash, at Melbourne and international campuses.
