Mr Fraser Reid

All of my 25 year working life has been spent in Civil Engineering laboratories at the University of Queensland.  For the first 8 years I was a member of the workshop staff and the first four of that acquiring my trade certificate as a fitter and turner.  Following that I moved into the structures testing laboratory and enjoyed working alongside various specialised staff, skilled across a diverse range of engineering environments.  In 2009 I took on the role as Laboratory Manager.

Qualifications

Fitter and Turner

• Forklift ticket
• elevated work platform ticket
• Senior First Aid Certificate (with current CPR)
• Construction General Safety Induction (QLD – Blue Card)
